There are dozens of excellent birding locations in the Cayuga Lake Basin. See below for major and minor hotspots. See Trip Recommendations for suggestions on which spots to visit, or Field Trips for other routes and locations. If you are visiting the area, check the Calendar to see if a field trip is running - you're welcome to join in. Or check to see if there is a CLO walk at Sapsucker Woods.
