Cayuga Bird Club Minutes
Foundation of Light
Attendance: 52
Reading of the List, by VP Ken Haas; just say yes if you’ve seen the bird in the past week within the Cayuga Lake Basin.
Call to Order at 7:30 by President Stephanie who asked newcomers to raise their hands. They were welcomed with applause & smiles. They were not put on the spot & asked to identify themselves.
Prior Month’s Meeting Minutes were approved.
TY to Jane Bain & Colleen Richards for cookies! We need volunteers for the next two months as the Cookie Monster list disappeared.
Next Month’s meeting: Monday, April 15th
(normally we meet 2nd Monday of the month, but due to 4/8 Total Solar Eclipse, meeting will be delayed a week)

Invitation to offer your property for a field trip, led by an experienced birder. Host simply has to know the property, not necessarily the birds. Contact Field trip coordinator Meena Haribel if you would love to offer your property for a guided field trip.

Conservation Action Committee: Supports relationships between birds and plants, deepens connections to places and idea of community conservation. 4/6 10-12 weather permitting, CAC is participating in Spring Cleaning. Meet at Large Picnic Pavillion of Stewart Park.
SOSK: Steve Kress gave an overview of progress. Sign ups are continuing.
