Beginner Bird Walks at Cornell Lab of Ornithology,
Every Saturday and Sunday, 8:30am-10:00am.
Meet at Lab of O Visitor Entrance (Visitor Center opens 10am-4pm).
Bring your own binoculars if you have them, but some will be available to use/lend during the walk.

Bird Walks with Friends of Stewart Park, coordinated by Jody and CAC.
Third Saturday of April-June (April 16, May 21, June 18) 9am-10am.
Meet at Cascadilla Boat House

Recent Field Trips:

Saturday, Mar 26: Up the Lake (Diane Morton and Ken Kemphues + 7 participants).
We only made it as far as Aurora Bay. It was cold and wet, but we saw quite a few birds on the water and it was a fun trip.

Sunday, April 3: Stewart Park (Suan Yong + 6 participants).
Cold and a little rainy. We saw a variety of birds. Of note, 3 wood duck nests in the same tree!

Sunday, April 10: Salt Point and Myers (Suan Yong + 13 participants).
Several interesting birds seen, osprey, loons, ravens, northern harrier, cedar waxwings and more.

Conservation Action Activities (Jody Enck):
A lot going on this month.
Thurs, April 14, 9am, with CCE youth at Renwick Woods: eBird inventory, remove invasives.  Come on out and see what we are doing anytime between 9-3.
Friday, April 22: Earth Day habitat work with New Roots Charter School
Saturday, April 23: Earth day habitat work with local families
