v4 on its way

v4 takes the route up to Grantham - adding five more stations and another 35? miles of track. Progress has been good with alll stations finished and the 'era specific' elements sorted - particularly important in this section as most of the intermediate stations closed in the 60s.

In addition to the extra route I have also taken the time to address several bugs/niggles with existing stuff - many small improvements done but the main ones are:

  • Top Shed track smoothed so exits for Pacifics don't involve dumps!
  • Floating track/sunken embankment manually fixed in many (not all) places - this was a problem where the Cornish Lines embankment lofts sit about a foot below the track edge when laid using the offset tool - this affected great swathes of the route and niggled me when doing fly-bys
  • Stray concrete artefacts at Drayton park have been removed (I still need to replace the Drayton Park tunnel entrances)
  • Removed or de-duplicated scenery items - removing 112MB from assets folders reqd
  • Re-laid PBO approach trks in line with LNER forum info on 1951 layout - and enhanced the tracks North of PBO (New England is still a WIP)
  • Re-did several scenarios - eg re-made the Inner Suburban scenario to use the lovely new J15 from DT - which entailed re-laying the track to the correct (1:37) angle so the poor loco could get up the hill with two Quad-Arts on!
