Win or loss came clear when a competition or a match was over. We have experienced a lot of these in these four years. There were external and internal matches. Do you remember Balu Cup, ComputerMate Competition and Computer Olympic? Balu Cup and ComputerMate competition were inter-class competition organized by CS Departmental Society. Computer Olympic was, of course, an internal inter-group competition organized by the Class Association. Most of us had participated in one or more of these competitions. We had victories and we had losses in these competitions. Although we could not be sure if we could win in a competition, we could be sure that we as game players always had one thing in mind:
'We want to win.'
Someone says friendship comes first and competition the second. I would say that it doesn't express the real meaning of competition. I would say that the prime goal in a competition is to try your best to win it. Win or loss will be meaningless without your wholehearted effort in it. On the other hand, there is a basic assumption that friendship should not be spoiled in a competition. If friendship is spoiled in a match, I will say that the match is just not played wholehearted enough by either team members. Someone must have violated the rules of the match.
From the photos, you can see the records that contains the matches of the good game players. May be you are not in these photos but I am sure that we, PSDS-BScCS are and we will be good game players. We will try our best to win matches in our lives.
