RSR is pleased to offer a brand new Twin Rivers Council CSP celebrating Scouting’s 100th Anniversary in America and the great Scouting tradition at Rotary Scout Reservation! The CSP, which was designed by RSR Staff alumnus Jack Earl, features the founder of Scouting, Lord Baden-Powell, along with local icon Uncle Sam. The history of Uncle Sam is traced to Sam Wilson, a native of nearby Troy, NY. Rotary Scout Reservation was originally owned by the Uncle Sam Council, and early camp patches feature a profile of the distinctive national icon.
Commemorative council strips will be available at the RSR Trading Post this summer, while supplies last. A limited number of special edition gold bordered versions of the patch are available for a $250 donation to the RSR Thunderbird Club. Only 50 of the gold bordered patches were produced.
