2018/19 Dennis Moore Tournament

DENNIS MOORE TOURNAMENT 2019

This year’s tournament was held on 24^th March at Hingham, the morning session comprised of singles and fours whilst the afternoon session was comprised of pairs and triples.

9 of the 10 Breckland clubs entered a team in all disciplines

SINGLES

There were 9 singles playing in a league, each playing 4 games, winner was, Wymondham’s Chris Mann winning all his games with a plus 44 shots, Runner up was Harling Unicorns Mike Tarrant,also winning all his games but with plus 25 shots.

FOURS

There were 9 fours played in a league, each team playing 4 games winners were, Carleton Rode’s Ann Biddulph, Keith Buck, Angela Bond and Graham Mobbs winning 3 games plus 8 shots, Runners up were Forncett’s Jan Smail, Andrew Coleman, Gill Coleman and Peter Locke also winning 3 games plus 6 shots.

There were 9 teams in each of the pairs and triples playing 4 games each

PAIRS

Winners were Wymondham’s Hayley Osborne and Jon Sparham winning all their games with plus 21 shots .Runners up was Carlton Rode’s Morris Taylor and Terry Newby winning 3 games with plus 11 shots.

TRIPLES

Winners were Wymondham’s Pat Saunders, Debbie Sparham and Jack Pye, winning all their games with plus 32 shots. Runners up were Connaught A’s Dave Quadling, Mike Parsons and Sylvia Parsons winning 3 games with plus 17 close behind in third place was Carleton Rode’s Mike Newby, David Blundell and Trish Taylor also with 6 points but plus 14.

The Dennis Moore trophy for overall shots for was won by Wymondham with 190 Runners up Carleton Rode with 145 closely followed by Connaught A with 138.
