2017/2018 DENNIS MOORE TOURNAMENT
DENNIS MOORE TOURNAMENT 2018
The Annual Breckland League Tournament was held at Hingham on Sunday 11th March 2018.
It was good to see all clubs had entered something.
The morning session saw 8 singles playing in 2 leagues playing 3 games each and 7 fours playing in 1 league, playing 4 games each.
The winner of singles league 1 was K.Newby, winning all his games and the winner of league 2 was C.Mann also winning all his games. In the final C.Mann won by 11-6.
The fours was won by Harling Unicorns K.Messent, J.Kendall, G.Messent and M.Tarrant with 7 points, Runners up were Carleton Rodes K.Buck, G.Coleman, G.Atter and G.Mobbs with 6 points.
The afternoon session saw 7 pairs in 1 league and 9 triples in 1 league, playing 4 games each.
The triples winners were Connaught A’s D.Adcock, J.LiRocchi and O.Secker with 6 points and +26 shots, runners up were Hingham’s P.Roach, J.Higgs and J.Higgs with 6 points +25 shots
The pair’s winners were Hingham’s W.Tweed and K.Thomas with 8 points, runners up Carleton Rode’s M.Taylor and T.Newby with 6 points.
The overall Dennis Moore trophy was won by Hingham with 124 shots and runner up Carleton Rode with 120 shots.
