David Low

Instrument: Baritone (Bass Clef)

Favorite Brass to the Future song: The Tijuana Brass Medley

Background: David Low is the cuddly ladies' man of Brass to the Future. With his rosy-cheeked charms, inexplicable techniques, and smooth euphonium tones, David is a master of cool. David's personal style is heavily influenced by Chicago, Bon Jovi, and Guns N' Roses, none of which translate well to the baritone, but all of which make for a general aura of greatness and awesomeness. A former music major at the University of South Carolina, David also shares the arranging and composing duties of the group. When he's not delivering his patented melodious tones, David looks for a great new job. Potential employers, take notice: David is a fantastic potential employee!

David has played for a number of different ensembles and bands, including the South Aiken High School Band (Aiken, South Carolina); the University of South Carolina Marching Band; the USC Basketball Pep Band; the USC Concert Band; the Aiken Community Band; Second Grade Girls; Pocket Aces; and numerous South Carolina All-State ensembles.

David is a co-creator of the card game Banas.

David has multiple interests but primarily enjoys hanging out with friends and singing in the car. After winning his first ever Church League Basketball Championship in 2006, he has since moved on to running in local 5K races. In both basketball and football, he cheers for the Fighting Gamecocks.

David also plays with up-and-coming support act White Girl Problems.

Shrimp, Brittany, and Tyler adopted a dog for David. Jake is David's best friend.
