  • Remarks: The kinetiscope, which is an early 1900s arcade machine, is the inspiration for this piece. A button on the front of the piece triggers a timed sequence of photos that are displayed on a screen. The photos are of a time lapse sequences of urban locations. The purpose of this sculpture is an investigation into the perception of time, and how our memories serve as a way to sequence and process the passage of time.
