Chicago Housing Authority Project
Successfully organized and managed a project to provide an accurate evidence and ongoing monitoring of residents that relocated using Housing Choice Vouchers (HCV) using digital pen technology to transfer data collected at the home of the residents into a database.
Key Responsibilities:
Planning and identifying the best way to capture the data:
Creating the pre-printed, pre-addressed survey.
Scheduling and logistics of the survey teams.
Training the team and communicating to the residents about our survey and its benefits.
Continuous improvement on the process (weekly meeting and change control)
Data collection using the digital pens in our resident's homes.
Transferring the data and the photographs into a database.
Statistical reporting from the database.
Make evidence available to the public domain.
Key Achievements:
Utilized the digital pen to input 3,000 surveys per year.
Improved the data entry accuracy by over 80%.
Eliminated 40 man-hours per month to prepare reports, while creating an on-demand reporting system.
