No one is talking about but the high cost health insurance is a killer. It is projected to go to $18,000 for a family of four by the year 2016. Here is a example of some ones insurance costs in the Washington DC area. In 2012 the cost was $8,400 a year. In 2013 it went to $9,400. Then in 2014 it went to $17,000 a year, the employer pays $1000 a month in addition to employee premium. In New Jersey the price is $20,400. In California the price is $32,400. This is with Blue Cross Blue Shield. Look what happened to disposable income from 2012 to 2014. Down $8600. All corporations will be raising their insurance premiums and passing them on to employees.
