Sometimes pimps will send a thug guy or a gang to prostitute that is competition with the prostitutes that work for them. Recently there have been some outings on backpage and some recent arrests of these individuals committing felonies. Because these can be life threatening situations other units such as homicide units are involved. Law enforcement will go after these guys with a vigor because they know the sentences are long.
