Road District Communications

At the February 14 meeting of the Bear Valley Special Road District, the residents requested that the Board email out the January & February minutes of their proceedings as well as the Agenda for the March 13 meeting. They also asked that the board continue this task each month in the future, which takes approximately 3 to 4 minutes per month, and the Board graciously promised to do all this. Sadly, no minutes have been emailed out and no agenda for the meeting which occurs in a few days has been received. Even after a couple of reminders, the board has declined to commit to a date when we might receive communications, even after technical help was offered. We remain hopeful that the board will step up and share information in keeping with the spirit of Oregon Public Meetings and Records Law, as well as in the spirit of good neighborliness. We all have a vested interest in supporting the activities of the Board as they wrestle with issues of maintenance and proper stewardship of our tax money. Please try to attend the monthly meetings (see Calendar) to provide your much needed input and to stay informed.
