Emily Shaw (1826–1892) married Robert Pridham Hicks (1809-1885) in 1854

Dr Robert Pridham Hicks was born in Madras, the son of Thomas Hicks and Nancy Holding. He was a surgeon in the Madras Medical Service. He and Emily lived in Devon. They had no children.
