In a lot of my worlds, I base my end-of-season votes on the WAR totals of the candidates. This originated with the Rookie of the Year voting since I figured that WAR was the most reliable stat to use to compare pitching and hitting success in a given season, but I soon expanded it to all six of the voting categories and it's proven to be a pretty useful tool.
