AL North
This one is a two team race down the stretch, with a head to head series between the two remaining teams that could prove pivotal.
AL East
All four squads are still technically alive with 20 games to go, but in reality this will probably come down to Scranton and Charleston.
AL South
The 91ers won the final WS title in the Draft Theme World, and are in a good position to qualify for Around The Horn's inaugural playoffs via a division title to "defend" the crown.
AL West
sermon's men really know how to make the most of home field advantage, as they are 51-27 at home and just 32-32 on the road entering their final 20 games. Barring a total meltdown, they should get at least a couple chances to put that advantage to use in the postseason.
AL Wild Card
There are five teams within what seems to be striking distance at this point of the season, so it will be interesting to see who can get and/or stay hot to join Detroit in the postseason...there is a nice group of four chasing the Drive right now who seem pretty comfortably inside the playoff structure.
NL North
This one is all but locked up by the Circumnavigators...if Chicago sweeps the remaining head to head series, they have a prayer at making a run for the crown but going 3-for-3 head to head with Ottawa is a must.
NL East
As a Red Sox fan, this is familiar if disappointing territory. New York has a strong hold on the division lead while Boston has an outside shot at making a run and everyone else is already eliminated. I wouldn't be too shocked to see a deep postseason run by this NY team either...
NL South
Another division where everyone is alive with 20 games to play...by far the most important series remaining is the Nashville/Atlanta showdown. The Braves need to get the W in that series if not the sweep to really have a strong chance at a division crown.
NL West
This is the divisional race that inspires the most excitement with 20 games to go. All four teams are still in it, and it's the closes of any division top to bottom with fourth place Arizona only 13 games behind first place Vancouver. That being said, Tacoma will need to get hot down the stretch and the cellar dwelling Swiss Cheese essentially need a miracle to work their way back into this thing.
AL Wild Card
At this point, the question is more about whether Boston or Chicago will earn the top Wild Card spot...not so much who the two teams will be.
