Season 16 Voting

I recently had a chance to get the park-and-position adjusted Wins Above Replacement numbers more or less updated for the first 13 seasons of ATH history, which will be very helpful in Hall of Fame voting this season. That, combined with a metric that I have named the "Importance Score" which combines WAR per season and individual awards (including rings) are the most efficient ways that I have found to evaluate a player's HOF candidacy. For reference, all five members of the ATH Hall of Fame have double digit scores with the average total checking in at 16.1 points. Here's a look at this year's ballot: 

Hitters

• Graham Brock: not fully evaluated, but averaged 2.4 WAR in seasons with calculated totals

• Taylor Butler: not fully evaluated, but averaged 3.8 WAR in seasons with calculated totals

• Einar Castillo: not fully evaluated, but averaged 4.1 WAR in seasons with calculated totals

• Darrell Charles: not fully evaluated, but averaged 1.7 WAR in seasons with calculated totals

• Lance Fitzgerald: not fully evaluated, but averaged 1.9 WAR in seasons with calculated totals

• Carl Locke: 1.8 Importance Score 

• Brian Loiselle: 2.3 Importance Score

• Louie Matsui: 0.7 Importance Score

• Neifi Ortiz: not fully evaluated, but averaged 1.3 WAR in seasons with calculated totals

• Mark Robinson: not fully evaluated, but averaged 3.1 WAR in seasons with calculated totals 

• Tim Suppan: not fully evaluated, but averaged 1.6 WAR in seasons with calculated totals

Pitchers

• Lee Buchanan: not fully evaluated, but averaged 2.7 WAR in seasons with calculated totals

• Victor DaSilva: 11.9 Importance Score (also 15th All-Time in WAR)

• Gioskar Gloub: 3.7 Importance Score  

• Hiroki Li: 20.9 Importance Score is good for 2nd All-Time (also 13th All-Time in WAR)

• Carter Pickford: 5.4 Importance Score, was a pre-merger beast
