This website and the didactic sequence have been built and designed by Jordi Domènech Casal, Science teacher at secondary school in Spain, using Inquiry-Based-Science Education (IBSE) didactic approaches and following the standard structure proposed by Bernie Dodge for WebQuests.

The activity has been indexed at the Aplicació de Recursos al Currículum (ARC) from the Departament d'Educació de la Generalitat de Catalunya and has been included as part of the ProyectandoBioGeo science learning activities itinerary.

I offer the following materials under a Creative Commons (CC BY-NC 3.0) license (you are free to remix and adapt the work, citing the original author. Use for commercial purposes is not allowed).

  • The didactic sequence, the web site and its images.
    • The files from the Resources section created by me.

Materials Excluded from this general license

    • Some of the images used to construct the header (ape, skull, researcher) are from external sources and might have their own License.
    • Image from an excavation Site is a modification of an original from MediaWiki, under public license.
