About

I am currently the Assistant Director of Grant Development at the National Institute for Modeling Biological Systems (NIMBioS), which is at the University of Tennessee.

Previously, I was a Senior Lecturer, the Director of the Master of Mathematics distance education program, and an elected Faculty Senator. Additionally, I served as the Community Engagement Fellow for the American Institute of Mathematics during 2022-2023. Before that, I worked as an Assistant Professor at Coastal Carolina University in South Carolina. I received my Ph.D. from Colorado State University, where I worked with Dr. Rachel Pries.
