about me

I am a Lecturer at the University of Tennessee. I am teaching MATH509: Seminar for Teachers and MATH119: College Algebra in the spring 2019 semester.

I was recently an Assistant Professor at Coastal Carolina University and was teaching Cryptography, Coding Theory, Calculus I, Discrete Math, and a couple of independent study courses. I mentored four undergraduate students on their senior capstone projects.

I received my Ph.D. from Colorado State University where I worked with Rachel Pries. Specifically, my dissertation topic was on counting Artin-Schreier curves over finite fields.
