I am an Assistant Professor at Coastal Carolina University.  During the Fall 2016 semester, I am teaching

  • MATH408/CSCI408: Cryptography, and
  • MATH160: Calculus I.
I am also mentoring two undergraduate students on their senior math projects ("Visual Cryptography" and "The Zombie Infection").

I received my Ph.D. from Colorado State University where I worked with Rachel Pries.  Specifically, my dissertation topic was on counting Artin-Schreier curves over finite fields.
