I am a Lecturer at the University of Tennessee.  I am teaching MATH460: Geometry, MATH119: College Algebra, and co-teaching MATH509: Seminar for Teachers (in the Master of Mathematics program).

I was recently an Assistant Professor at Coastal Carolina University.  During Fall 2017, I was teaching MATH/CSCI408: Cryptography and MATH160: Calculus I.  I mentored an independent study graduate student in Cryptography, an undergrad in Abstract Algebra, and two students on their senior projects.

I received my Ph.D. from Colorado State University where I worked with Rachel Pries.  Specifically, my dissertation topic was on counting Artin-Schreier curves over finite fields.
