À vous la parole !
Become part of a special conversation group geared to students who want to practice their French in a relaxed environment primarily with other students: À vous la parole!
From 5:00 to 6:00 PM on Sundays, students of various ability levels are invited to interact with each other. We will discuss grammatical and syntactical structures and practice formulating sentences at a more deliberate pace than is normally possible in a conversation group.
Participants may choose to stay for le café français, which follows (from 6:00 to 7:30 PM), where they will be able to further enhance their listening and speaking skills by interacting with others, including native speakers of French.
To summarize:
Sundays at 5:00 PM À vous la parole! (open to all, targeted to learners of French)
Sundays at 6:00 PM Le café français (weekly conversation group geared to conversation among students and native speakers)
Both activities take place in the lounge (upstairs) of the Murray Research Center/Achatz Hall of Science, University of Saint Francis, 2701 Spring Street, Fort Wayne.
Both events are free and open to the public.
