On vous propose le 26e Festival des films français de Richmond (bande-annonce), programmé pour le 22 au 25 mars et sponsorisé par les universités Virginia Commonwealth et University of Richmond.
Depuis son inauguration ce festival connaît une réputation pour l'introduction au public nord-américain de plus de 400 films français et francophones. Depuis 2003 le festival est reconnu officiellement par l'ancien ambassadeur français aux États-Unis, son Excellence Jean-David Levitte, comme le plus important festival de cinéma français du pays.
Tous les films (programme) sont présentés par les réalisateurs et/ou des acteurs principaux, chacun suivi d'une période de questions. Tous les films, projetés dans le cinéma Byrd Theatre, sont en version originale, sous-titrés en anglais ; les discussions sont en français ou en anglais avec interprétation. La réception officielle permet aux festivaliers une interaction plus spontanée avec les vedettes françaises et francophones.
Nous partirons en fourgonnette du parking du Holiday Inn Fort Wayne - IPFW & Coliseum, 4111 Paul Shaffer Drive, à 8h30 vendredi le 23 mars et nous reviendrons vers minuit dimanche le 25 mars. Les frais du voyage seront 100 $ par personne. Billetterie : 115 $ pour la carte VIP (65 $ pour les étudiants) qui permet l'accès illimité aux films et aux périodes de questions avec les réalisateurs et acteurs.

You are invited to join us in attending the 26th annual Richmond French Film Festival (trailer) scheduled for March 22-25 and co-sponsored by Virginia Commonwealth University and the University of Richmond.
Since its inception, the festival has earned acclaim in the U.S. and France for introducing more than 400 French and francophone films to North American audiences. Since 2003 it has been recognized formally by former French Ambassador to the U.S., His Excellency Jean-David Levitte, as the most important French film festival in the country.
All films (schedule) are introduced by their directors and/or starring actors. A question-and-answer session with directors and actors follows each screening. All movies have English subtitles, and discussions are in English or French with an interpreter. Films are screened at the historic Byrd Theatre. An official reception offers festival attendees even more time to meet and speak with French film celebrities.
We will depart from the Holiday Inn Fort Wayne - IPFW & Coliseum parking lot, 4111 Paul Shaffer Drive, at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, March 23, and return around midnight Sunday, March 25. Travel cost is $100 per person. Tickets: $115 for the VIP Pass ($65 for students) which allows access to all films and Q & A sessions with directors and actors.
