To Dave and John, Art Breuer sends his thanks for installing the water line across the creek.
I attended the cabin meeting on Sunday the 24th. Good turnout. Details will be in meeting minutes Kay Massone plans to send out shortly. I was only there for the meeting so didn't do any cleanup. Dues this year are $100, John I'll need reimbursement when you can.
Water is on. I opened the shutters and installed the screens. I didn't see any evidence of mice droppings, I think the electronic mice repellent is doing the job. I did find lots of spider webs. Both inside and out. Lots of pine cones, leaves and needles on the ground, some fallen branches. Maybe we could organize a work day to do general cleanup?

Elena, Nina and I spent six hours pulling up the soiled carpet and carpet pad in the dormer. The floor underneath looks just like it always did aside from the fact that it now has little tiny holes all over the place because of the (hundreds of) staples and nails that were used to hold the carpet in place. A few strategically-placed runners in a gray to match the linoleum would improve the acoustics.
Here are a few pictures of the work and workers.

Coralie and Charlene sewed new muslin curtains for the living-room.
It fits the room well; the windows were cleaned by the whole gang.
Work was also done by a friend, T.J. Shanteau.
We hope that the upstairs toilet does not run incessantly any more. The innards/gaskets were quite old and brittle and deserved to be replaced. He repaired the toilet downstairs.
He also fixed the broken window in the upstairs bathroom, the chair rail in the kitchen as well as finishing the gap at the sink towards the wall.
