Alberta Fire Aid is actively accepting donations of new and used firefighting gear for redistribution within Alberta and to international partners. We welcome any equipment that may be useful to fire departments locally or abroad.
All donated items are inspected, cleaned, and inventoried for use by rural and under-resourced departments across Alberta. Items not claimed or used within 12 to 18 months may be forwarded to vetted international relief organizations supporting fire services in need.

High-Value Equipment Donations May Include:
Turnout gear (jackets, pants, helmets, boots, gloves, hoods)
SCBA packs, cylinders, masks, and voice amplifiers
Wildland gear and tools
Hose, nozzles, and appliances
Flashlights and hand tools
Rescue equipment
Medical/trauma bags
Traffic control items (cones, vests, signs)
Fire extinguishing agents (e.g., Purple K)
Logistical Needs & Fundraising
Alberta Fire Aid is a volunteer-run, not-for-profit society and we rely on the generosity of others to continue our work. We are currently seeking corporate sponsors and community supporters to help us secure:
An indoor storage and sorting facility, or
Shipping containers for gear storage and processing
These will significantly improve our ability to safely store, sort, and ship donations across Alberta and beyond.
