Equipment Impact

Since our inception, Alberta Fire Aid has proudly distributed over 2,500 sets of firefighter turnout gear to departments across Canada (as of January 2025). Alongside this vital PPE, we’ve provided countless departments with essential gear such as fire hose, trauma bags, SCBA masks, voice amplifiers, fall arrest equipment, flashlights, ladders, PPV fans, N95 masks, traffic cones, helmets, boots, and even wildland skid units and Purple K firefighting agent.

Our impact extends beyond Canada. We’ve supported international missions like Firefighter Aid for Ukraine, providing over 350 sets of turnout gear and additional tools and equipment. Thanks to dedicated individuals organizing logistics, we’ve also seen Alberta Fire Aid gear reach Mexico and the Philippines, where it continues to protect firefighters on the front lines.

To date, the total appraised value of turnout gear, apparatus, and equipment sent by Alberta Fire Aid is estimated at over $2 million within Canada, and an additional $500,000 through international aid.
