Action Research in Preah Vihear, Cambodia

On 23rd September 2019, we held a workshop about action research in Preah Vihear, Cambodia for establishing a Model for sustainable regional development and responsible tourism. There are many cultural landscape resources and attractive rural landscapes in Preah Vihear province, and we discussed the direction to realize sustainable development while valuing these.

AKDENIZ UNIVERSITY in Turkey

A special lecture was given at the Faculty of Landscape at Akdeniz University, and active exchange of opinions was held. We also exchanged opinions on research and examined the possibility of future joint research. In addition, we conducted a survey on the reconstruction of Yalova City, the area affected by the 1999 Marmara Earthquake, and surveys on cases of resettlement due to the designation of a national park.
