यहएक आफिसियल साफ्टवेयर (Official Software) है ।यह कई Application Software का संग्रह है ।जो आफिस कि सभी जरुरतो को पूरा करता है इसको अमेरिका की कम्पनी माइक्रोसाफ्ट ने विकसित किया है इस कम्पनी के अध्यक्ष दुनिया के सबसे अमीर व्यक्ति Bill Gates है । MSoffice का पूरा नाम Microsoft office है । इसमे ms office के अन्दर पाये जाने वाले software word, excel, Power Point, Outlook and access है जो आफिस कि सभी जरूरतो को पूरा करते है।
MS Word
Microsoft Word ऍम एस ऑफिस का ही एक Software हैं| जिसको Microsoft Company द्वारा बनाया गया था यह Software विश्व में सबसे अधिक प्रयोग में आने वाला Software हैं | इसे संक्षिप्त में MS Word भी कहा जाता हैं | Microsoft Word का प्रयोग Letter Writing, Resume, Mail Merge आदि कार्यों के लिए किया जाता है इसलिए Microsoft Word को Word Processing के नाम से भी जाना जाता हैं |
शब्द लिखना, वाक्य बनाना, पैराग्राफ बनाना, पृष्ठ तैयार करना इस प्रकार की सभी प्रक्रियाओ के द्वारा अपनी बात को सुनियोजित ढंग से प्रस्तुत करना Word Processing कहलाता हैं अपने हाथ से पेंसिल या पेन की सहायता से की गई प्रक्रिया मानवीय शब्द प्रक्रिया कहलाती हैं परन्तु जब यही कार्य कंप्यूटर की सहायता से किया जाता है तब यह इलेक्ट्रोनिक वर्ड प्रोसेसिंग कहलाती हैं |

It is an application of Ms-Office Package. It is used to create or modify Document File. It gives facility of object , picture, Table, and mail-merge etc. we can also create web page in ms-Word.The extension name of file will be .Docx (2007-2010) .Doc (2000-2003)
To Open Ms-Word
Process:-
1. Start > Run > Winword (type) 8
2. Start > All program > Microsoft office > Ms-word 2007
3. Through the find option.
Office Button:-
New Ctrl+N
Open Ctrl+O
Save Ctrl+S
Save As F12
Print Ctrl+p
Print preview Ctrl+F2
Properties
Close Ctrl+W/ Alt+F4
1. Close :-It is use to close the current file. If the will not save then it will prompt to save the file.
Step:-Office Button > Close.
2. Properties :-it will display the properties related to current file.
Step :-
Ø Office Button > prepare > properties > Document properties > Advance Properties.
Ø A box will appear
Ø Click at statistic > Details here.

1. Redo:-It will repeat the last stage.
Step:- Show ribbon > repeat or press F4 or Ctrl+Y

1. Paste(Ctrl+V):- It paste cut or copy Information which is store in the clipboard.
Step:-
Ø Place the cursor where you want paste.
Ø Home > Clip Board > Paste or ctrl+V.
2. Paste Special :-It will paste the copy text with link. That is one change will accrue in source text then its effect will display in target text also.
Step:-
Ø First of all save the file
Ø Select the text and copy
Ø Place the cursor in target file(wordpad)
Ø Edit > paste special
Ø Select paste link option
Ø Click ok button.

3. Paste as hyperlink :-It will also create a link Ex- Hyperlink between source and target text. We can view the effect of hyperlink after click on target text.
Step:-Ø Press ctrl+8 and type some Information.
Ø First of all save the file.
Ø Select main text and copy
Ø Place the cursor in target file.
Ø Home > clipboard > paste as hyperlink.
4. Cut (ctrl+X):- It will cut the selected information and store in clipboard which is part of memory. Ex – RAM( random access memory)
Note:-buffer will store the last content.
Step:-
Ø Select the information
Ø Home > clipboard > Cut or ctrl+X
5. Copy(Ctrl+C) :- it will copy the selected information in the clipboard.
Step:-
Ø select the information
Ø home > clipboard > copy or ctrl+C
6. Format Painter (ctrl+shift+c):- copy formatting from one place and apply it to another place.
1. Font (Ctrl+Shift+F) :- Change the style of font.
2. Font Size(Ctrl+Shift+P):- give the size of selected information.
3. Grow font (Ctrl+Shift+>) :- Increase the font size.
4. Shrink Font (Ctrl+Shift+<) :- Decrease the font size.
5. Clear Formating :-cleat all the format and taken previes format.
6. Bold (Ctrl+B) :- Bold the Selected Information. Ex- ajay
7. Italic (ctrl+I) :- italic the information. Ex- ajay
8. Under line (Ctrl+U):- Underline the information. Ex- ajay
9. Strike through :- cut the information from between. Ex- ajay
10. Sub script (Ctrl+=):- ex- H2O
Step:-
Ø Select the text to apply sub script format
Ø Home > font > subscript option or press ctrl+=
Ø Click ok button
11. Super Script (Ctrl+Shift++):- ex- A2+B2
Step:-Ø Select the text to apply super script format
Ø Home > font > super script option or press ctrl+Shift++
Ø Click ok button
12. Change case :-It is use to change case of text. We can change the style of selected text on the basis of selected option.Step:-
Ø First of all select the text.
Ø Home > Font > Change case.
Ø A box will appear.
Ø Select your option.
Ex- Sentence case This is a cat.
Upper case THIS IS A CAT.
Lower case this is a cat.
Capitalize each word This Is A Cat.
tOGLE cASE tHIS iS a cAT.
13. Text Highlight Color :-for given highlighting color.
