French Onion Soup
1 large onion, sliced 1/4 inch thick
1 tablespoon margarine or butter
1 tablespoon all-purpose flour
2 teaspoons Worcestire sauce
1/2 teaspoon sugar
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 (14 ounce) can beef broth
1. Melt butter in aircore 2 Quart Self-Cooker over medium-high heat and add onions. Saute 10 minutes until onions begin to brown slightly around edges.
2. Mix flour, Worcestershire sauce, sugar and pepper together, then stir in beef broth. Add beef broth mixture to onions and stir together.
3. Cover with Look'n'Cook glass lid and bring to a boil over medium-high heat. When the broth begins to boil, cover with the ThermalSeal Steel Lid. Lower to a simmer and cook until AutoCook ThermoKnob reaches mid-green.
4. Remove from heat, allow to sit 10 minutes then place in Caddy Bag. Self-cook at least 20 minutes and up to 2 hours.
Vegetables and Rice
2 tablespoons butter
1 carrot, chopped
1 small zucchini, sliced 1/2 inch thick
2 green onions, sliced
1 cup shredded cabbage
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/8 teaspoon pepper
1 (14-15 ounce) can stewed Italian-styale tomatoes with basil, garlic, and oregano
1 cup beef broth
1/2 cup instant white rice
1. Melt butter in aircore 2 Quart Self-Cooker over medium-high heat. Add carrot, zucchini, and onion and saute 5-7 minutes stirring occasionally.
2. Add remaining ingredients and stir together. Add the look'n'cook glass id and bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
3. When the sauce begins to boil, cover with the Thermalseal steel lid. Lower to a simmer and cook until the AutoCook ThemroKnob reaches mid-green.
4. Remove from heat, allow to sit 10 minutes then place in Caddy Bag. Self-cook at least 20 minutes and up to 2 hours.
Makes 2 servings.
Old Settler's Beans
1/2 pound ground turkey
1 tablespoon butter
1/2 cup chopped onions
3 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons white sugar
2 tablespoons catsup
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 tablespoon prepared mustard
1 (15 ounce) can butter beans, partially drained
1 (15 ounce) can pork and beans
1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans, partially drained
1. Melt butter in aircore 2 Quart Self-Cooker over medium-high heat. Saute meat and onions until meat is no longer pink. Sitr in remaining ingredients.
2. Cover with Look'n'Cook Glass lid and bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
3. When the beans beign to boil, cover with the ThermalSeal Steel Lid. Lower to a simmer and cook until the AutoCook ThemroKnob reaches mid-green.
4. Remove from heat, allow to sit 10 minutes then place in Caddy Bag. Self-Cook at least 20 minutes and up to 2 hours.
Makes 2 to 3 servings.
Beefy Noodle Bake
1/2 pound lean ground beef
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 cup beef broth
1 (10 ounce) can cream of mudroom soup
1/2 cup Teriyaki sauce
1 (2 ounce) jar diced pimientos, drained
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1-1/2 cups noodles
1 cup sour cream
1. Brown ground beef and onion in aircore 2 Quart Self-Cooker over medium-high heat. Cook until meat is no longer pink; drain if necessary. Stir in beef broth, soup, Teriyaki sauce, pimientos, pepper, and noodles.
2. Cover with the Look'n'Cook Glass Lid and bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
3. When sauce begins to boil, cover with the ThermalSeal Steel Lid. Lower to a simmer and cook until the AutoCook ThermoKnob reaches mid-yellow.
4. Remove from heat, allow to sit 10 minutes then place into Caddy Bag. Self-cook at least 20 minutes and up to 2 hours. Stir in sour cream before serving.

Kielbasa Sausage and Rice
1 tablespoon butter
1 stalk celery, sliced
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/2 green pepper diced
1 box Knoor Chicken Flavor Noodle Soup Mix
3 cups water
6 ounces Polish Kielbasa cooked sausage, 1/2 inch slices
1/4 cup instant white rice
1. Melt butter in aircore 2 Quart Self-Cooker over medium-high heat. Stir in celery, onion and pepper and cook until soft. Add soup mix, water, sausage, and rice. Stir well.
2. Cover with the Look'n'Cook Glass Lid and bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
3. When the mixture begins to boil, cover with the ThermalSeal Steel Lid. Lower to a simmer and cook until AutoCook ThermoKnob reaches mid-red.
4. Remove from heat, allow to sit 10 minutes then place in Caddy Bag. Self-Cook at least 20 minutes and up to 2 hours.
