Space, place, strategy, and tactic are terms that can be seen as essential to any experience. Because of their common nature they are often confused and used interchangeably (Ref A. Schroeder).
Strategy
Anything that can be recognized as an authority or exerting authority over individuals. The practice of creating planned architectural spaces can clearly be seen as a strategy. The planning of a town is definitely strategic, so is the way agriculture relates to nature.
Strategies are manifested through physical structures and rules/regulations.
Place
Tangible, finite and relatively defined / recognisable unit of space, as experienced through body/senses. However, a place can have subjective character, ie by being tied to feelings of security, inhabitation, and “being”.
Space
Abstract and conceptual. Associated with a sense of freedom and infinite extension. Primarily experienced with the mind.

Tactic
Individuals or groups that form in response to the situations and spaces of strategies. Have specific, short-term goals and dissipate after these are achieved.
