Binders, or Fate binders as many are called, are capable of immensely powerful change in the world. Once incredibly rare throughout history, there has been an incredible surge in the population this most recent generation. Neither they nor their powers are well understood nor documented, but what is understood is that when a Binder sets their mind to something, major change in the world is bound to happen. On an instinctual level, they make their will become a reality.
The most famous of Binders is Tirel Theonias. She remains known for slaying the rogue Mesaian god Allagi.
Some Binders claim to be agents of Fate, others claim to circumvent it's tides. Reality and Fate warp as the Binders will it. Binders are tied to the leylines of the world. It is hypothesized that this serves as a direct conduit to 'Fate.' When Binders manifest their powers, the leyline they are linked to also manifests in a physical sense.
