Ethnobotany Portfolios
For the purposes of this course, the Ethnobotany Portfolio will consist of three parts that should be both functional and creative.
Overall, the goal is for you to use your Ethnobotany Portfolio as a tool to help you organize and carry out all of the exercises for this course.
Part 1: Curriculum Vitae
This is a clear and well organized overview of a life's work history. It should include sufficient detail to understand what has transpired but not be overwhelming.
Part 2: Completed Work Products
This is a detailed description of work that has been done and includes examples of work that has been done. The reader should be able to understand why the work was done and what was learned.
By the time your portfolio is complete, the elements that should be included are:
Part 3: Ongoing Projects and Career Goals and Objectives
This is a detailed description of work that is either underway or being planned as well as long-term aspirations.
There should be a logical connection between these three parts. For example, the ongoing projects should move to the completed work products when they are done.
This third part of your portfolio should contain statements, links and other information that shows you are engaged in the pursuit of topics that caught your interest.
The portfolio elements of the assignments will eventually be assembled here.
