Finally finished! You should shortly be receiving emails with pdf attachments on the results of your written orders for your nations for the 2050 Turn. Please let me know soonest if there is any problem with them that can be fixed. Remember, you are responsible for correctly updating the shared Facility List spreadsheet with all of your new constructions for your nations. Now is the time to do it.

Regarding that Facilities page, I found something that we had all been doing wrong. The proper symbol for Rockets is 'RC' and military bases are 'Mil'. I thought it was 'R' and 'MB' but 'RC' and 'Mil' is what is used in the Invasion module by GDW and so that is what we are going to use.

New rules: The latest rules proposal has been posted [for the new players: this Rules Proposal has no effect on the current turn, will most certainly be repeatedly revised. The GM will tell you when it comes into effect, likely the beginning of the next Turn.] to the website, incorporating many changes to the game. The most impactful change is that we will no longer be allowing the unrestricted, indefinite storage of any Economic Unit at any location. As is, I can foresee how managing such things could get very complex very quickly, especially when we start developing off-world colonies, so we have to simplify.

Not yet, but I will be changing shortly the ownership permissions in Google of the Morning and Evening Edition Articles section for this Turn to be that of all current, active players. This should allow any of you to add comments to the article pages if you wish. If you change any of the actual articles without express, prior permission from me or Liam then I will change your nation, but you are free to add comments in the section at the bottom of each page.

We have done something a quite different for the news articles this time around, see the 'Evening Edition'.

-The first page a puzzle that you have to figure out. On that page there are several images and text which contain clues related to certain actions in the background story of the game, there are even some clues about which direction the story is going. Look closely! The GM is offering up to Response 5PApoints to the player(s) who correctly guesses what is going on and why. Email me at kelvinsoice@hotmail.com with your theory on what is happening. Have fun!

-The other pages in the Evening Edition are for the moment left blank due to "...certain actions.." and may be filled in by articles that you submit to the GM. Many of you submitted articles for use along with your orders, and that is nice, but the theme of this Turn is a British tabloid and our articles need to reflect that. You will have until February 18, 2019 at 1200 UTC to submit an article, the format is to be in that of what would be expected for a British tabloid. There 10 pages in each of the Morning and Evening editions, the author of the best article per page will be given 1 Response PApoint, the GM will choose who based on which articles receive the most votes in the page's comments section, to be eligible to vote the comments must written in an in-character format.

The first Quick Combat Round will be between NATO vs. about 60% of the original Militant Turkey over Armenia before they are welcomed home as heroes and patriots. Any orders regarding this, or any other combat you wish to start, are required to be posted to the Followup thread for you nation by February 18, 2019 at 1200 UTC. If you are moving units, now is the time to enter it into the shared Unit List spreadsheet. The combats last Turn in Venezuela, Iraq, Islamic Caliphate and Togo have wound down with a draw in Iraq and a capitulation of Venezuela, Islamic Caliphate, and Togo.
