September 24, 1951 - July 5, 2016

Jeff was son to Dwight and Fredda Penick; Father to Joy; Father in law to Robert; Grandfather to Miranda, Brenden and Angela; Great Grandfather to Ava; Big brother to Lynn, Kathy and Debbie; Brother in law to Ron, Debbie and Teri; Uncle to Shannon, Heather, Michelle, Eric and Sassy; Great Uncle to Johnathan, Nathan, Jaimee, Logan, Jessica, Mariah, Ciarrah, Madison, Gannon, Molly, Paislee and Preslee; Great Great Uncle to Zedekiah; Cousin to Many and Friend to All. In addition to his biological family he was son, father, brother and uncle to the Whipple family.

How do you describe a man who is indescribable... Jeff was a man who could be the life of the party or very humble and quiet. He was fun to be around either way. He loved his family and friends. He never met a stranger. He loved to travel. He spoke often and fondly of his travels to Bodega Bay with his family. He loved going on cruises. If you ask his family they would tell you he acted like he was rich and famous on those cruises. He loved his job and his customers and they loved him right back. He was a lifelong resident of Rio Linda. A member of the Lions Club and a beloved member of the community. He was a great man who will be missed by all.
