Mary L. Cole, 67, of Sutter, passed away on October 30th, 2018 at home, surrounded by her family. She is survived by her husband of 21 years, Larry Cole of Sutter, her father Lewis Draper of Rio Linda, her daughters Wendy Ferraro (Patrick) of Yuba City, Vania Fleharty of Tennessee, and Jewell Cole-Patterson of Sutter, her sons Mark Patterson of Olivehurst, Larry Cole-Fleharty (Rhiannon) of Grafenwoehr Army Base Germany, and Logan Cole-Patterson of Sutter. She was preceded in death by her mother Faye Draper and her sister Juanita Harbour.

Mary worked various clerical jobs throughout her life including working in the office of Recology, where she met the love of her life, Larry. Mary loved to garden and especially enjoyed her roses. She was also a very talented seamstress and created so many beautiful things. But, above all, she loved being "Nanny" to all of her grandchildren. She loved loading up the RV with her husband and taking the kids and grandkids camping in Fort Bragg or Lake Tahoe. She was a kind and generous person, always so giving with her time and talents. She always thought of others before herself and the world will be a poorer place without her in it.

Services will be held Monday, November 5th, 2018 at 10 am at Sutter Cemetery. A reception will follow at the Native Daughters Hall, 7393 Lyon Street, Sutter.
