Major Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for Plant Safety. 

• Responsible for Safety Legal Compliance. (As per Factory Act 1948)

Minor Job Responsibilities:

• Responsibility for planning, implementing and overseeing company's employee safety at work.

• Implementation & monitoring of EHS Management System

• Daily safety observation circulate to all concern dept.

• Monthly MIS report prepare.

• Plan and implement OHS policies and programs.

• Advice and lead employees on various safety-related topics.

• Implementation of EHS Policy, guidelines, procedures & compliance to legal requirements to establish a culture of health and safety etc.

• Review existing policies and procedures.

• Adhere to all the rules and regulation.

• Preparing and conducting safety training sessions for employees and vendor

• Maintaining a written log of safety inspection activities, reports, and correspondence

• Prepare and update EHS Legal register

• Ensure use of Personnel Protective Equipment (PPE) as required based on nature of work and ensure availability of all safety gadgets in the plant

• Identify near misses, unsafe acts & unsafe conditions and ensure corrective/ preventive       actions as approved by core EHS team

• Incident/ Accident communication (escalation), investigation, analysis & recommendation   of corrective & preventive actions to the Plant Manager.

Required Skills for the Post:

• Experienced-Min. 05 years as EHS Officer.

Required Qualification for the Post:

• Graduate/Diploma-BE (Fire & Safety), and Certificated.
