Sungold Tomatoes are sweet, tangy, yellow-orange tomatoes developed in Japan in 1992. They are best eaten raw, but can be grilled, roasted, sauteed, and stewed. Sungold Tomatoes pair will with fruits such as peaches, berries, and coconut; hummus, meats such as poultry, pork, beef, and mussels; cheeses such as parmesan, burrata, feta, and goat; and herbs like basil*, mint, and cilantro; zucchini; and snap peas. They provide vitamin C, potassium, and beta carotene. Tomatoes are best stored unrefrigerated, away from other fruits and vegetables, and away from direct sunlight.
