There are a number of services at the University that are not part of academic departments, and exist solely to help you in your studies. Some of them are listed below.
CiCS
The University computing service is generally known as CiCS (Corporate Information and Computing Services) and offers a wide range of support. Click here for more information.
301: Student Skills and Development Centre
Services available through 301 include: academic skills workshops; maths and statistics help, study skills tutorials (online and in person); specialist SpLD tutorials. Find out more here.
English Language Teaching Centre
The ELTC offers a range of options for students with English as a first or a secondary language. We work with them throughout the year to provide teaching sessions and individual support within the Department, in addition to the work they do centrally. Find out more here.
