We hope that you will not need to complain about our teaching and assessment methods. If you do feel that you need to complain it would be helpful if you could first discuss your complaint with the member of staff providing the teaching, or with your tutor. If you do not wish to do this, then the appropriate staff members to approach are Dr Baker or one of the Year Tutors. If your complaint cannot be resolved at this level you should make an appointment to see the Chair of the Department, Prof Mike Williamson.

Finally, if you believe that the Department has not responded to your complaint you can take your complaint to the Registrar and Secretary of the University. For details of the procedures to follow regarding academic and disciplinary appeals and complaints, click here
