Camtasia Screencasting
Camtasia is an advanced programme that can be used to create screencast and simple animations. It is available on all machines in rooms 4.21, 4.22 and all our Media Booths. This programme allows you to record your screen, animate, annotate and add a voice over and export it all together into a video. Below is our user guide and some tips to help you get started.

Work out what you want to record, if you are recording a lot think about trying to break it down so you avoid mistakes.
Zoom in
During the edit if you want to show a section of the screen in more detail you can zoom in.
annotate
Add arrows and text to your video so the viewer can see what you are talking about.
