1. What will happen if I cheat?
Cheating can mean a variety of things ranging from plagiarizing, to copying student work, to not following test procedures voiced by your teacher, or passing along information about an assignment.
If you are caught cheating you will face disciplinary and/or academic consequences.
2. What will happen if I plagiarize?
Plagiarism involves using words or ideas from another person or source without giving them proper credit.
A common example is copying and pasting text from the internet, without proper citations, on an assessed assignment. This may also include using an AI (artificial intelligence) generator to write or create work that has been requested by the instructor.Â
You can receive academic consequences, namely a zero on the assignment and can also face disciplinary consequences.
