Merritt Island HS Boys Summer Basketball Team Tryouts

Tuesday, May 28th from 230 - 5pm in the gym.

Wether you do or do not make this team, it has no bearing on your ability to make the JV or Varsity team during the regular season.

You must be able to commit to the team for the month of June. Please look at the calendar attached. Coach Densberger will expect you to attend all practices and team camps. If you have a conflict, please talk to him as soon as possible. His room is E-118. You can also reach him at this email: densberger.zachary@brevardschools.org.

Meet Coach Zack Densberger

Coach Densberger is excited to begin his first year as the boys head basketball coach at Merritt Island High School. He arrives with over 24 years teaching and coaching experience at all levels. He has spent most of his teaching and coaching career at Oviedo High School in Oviedo, Florida. Coach Densberger was born into a military family and raised as a proud army brat. He lived in numerous states while growing up including Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Texas, California, and Kansas. His travels have taken him to Germany where he lived with his family for several years. He is a graduate of the University of Wyoming and is a certified social studies teacher. He has been married to his wife Stacey for 22 years and they have two sons, Connor, a sophomore at FSU and Ethan, a freshman at UCF.
