Our SDG's mission is to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and provide lifelong learning opportunities for all.
Will, Jaxon, Adelle, and Jonah
To help share their learning, each SDG group created a formal presentation to present to the parents.
LEVELS OF ACTION:
LEVEL 1: In this action level, each SDG group took action to spread awareness in school.
LEVEL 2: In this level of action, each group took action outside of school with another organization.
LEVEL 3: Each student took individual action in their community or partnered with another student in their group to complete this level of action in support of their SDG.
Our group's goal was to spread awareness through the entire school to inform people of the hardships that global education is facing. To do this, we created decorations with facts about education on them such as streamers or small booklets and hung them up in our school's CFI, or library.
We knew we wanted to collaborate with schools and wanted to help students, so we went to Bright Horizons Academy and read books to kids during their story time.
LEVEL 3 ACTIONS
I wanted to find the best way possible to address some educational issues in my state, so I wrote a letter to the Florida Commissioner of Education about some issues that I feel need to be addressed.
-Willlièr
I made a neighborhood library and passed out flyers.
-Adelle
I made flashcards about the SDGs and SDG 4 and gave them to the Suntree Library.
-Jonah
I gave away magnets with SDG 4 on it and a paper saying why education is so important for everyone to have.
