To help share their learning, each SDG group created a formal presentation to present to the parents.
LEVELS OF ACTION:
LEVEL 1: In this action level, each SDG group took action to spread awareness in school.
LEVEL 2: In this level of action, each group took action outside of school with another organization.
LEVEL 3: Each student took individual action in their community or partnered with another student in their group to complete this level of action in support of their SDG.
We made a video about good health and well-being made to play in the cafeteria because we feel that videos are the best way to inform children about important topics these days.
We took action by packaging toothbrushes for the Space Coast Health Foundation. We chose to do this because dental hygiene is important to have in order to gain proper health quality and care.
I made a crossword puzzle about SDG 3, some diseases that have affected global health and mortality rates, and how to prevent these diseases. I did this because diseases and disorders are a major issues that affect global mortality rates and global health.
-Sequoia
I made soaps with facts about SDG 3 on them and handed them out to my neighbors and people on the beach. I also taught the people I handed them out to about SDG 3 because I know hygiene is an important part of getting quality health.
-Avalie
I passed out newspapers that I created that had information in them about SDG 3, major issues that affect global health, diseases, disorders, and other health issues. I also put up signs that explained the same things because people need to be aware of ways to stay healthy and be safe.
-Zach
I drew chalk drawings of important figures, such as the Red Cross and wrote facts about SDG 3, ways that health is affected, and some other facts from the UN. I drew these drawings and wrote these facts in front of my mother's cabinet store and other places in the plaza where her store is located. I did this because I wanted to spread awareness to all age groups in a fun way.
