Summer 2026 Cohort – Sprouts Chef Trainee Program
Applications are now open for the Summer 2026 cohort of the Sprouts Chef Trainee program. Interested applicants can review the brochure and flyer and submit an online application by May 1.
This program, offered by Sprouts Farmers Market, provides selected participants with hands-on culinary training and internship experience. Interviews are scheduled on a rolling basis after applications open.
Timeline:
April 1: Applications open; interviews scheduled on a rolling basis
May 1: Applications close
Mid-May: Interns matched to restaurants based on availability and location
Late May / Early June: Trial shifts completed
June: Internships begin
August: Internships conclude
Eligibility Requirements:
Ages 16–28
Demonstrated eligible hardship
Interest in pursuing a culinary career or gaining work experience to support next steps
Intermediate English proficiency
Ability to commit approximately 12 hours per week for 8 weeks (96 hours total)
Stable housing
Reliable transportation
Strong enthusiasm, teamwork, focus, and vision
