It may seem like it's too early to start thinking about summer internships. But, by checking out the different summer programs & signing up, you're ahead of the game! Priority will go to 10th & 11th graders.
STEPS:
1. Check out the Summer 2025 CCP Summer Program Overview slides (see below).
Take some time to go through the many programs available. You can only select one program to apply to. You cannot change it once you submit your application.
Pay extra attention to slides 21 & 22 for important information.
2. Complete the SFUSD Summer Programs Interest Form.
The link can be found on the last page of the "Summer 2025 CCP Summer Program Overview" slides.
You must be logged in to your SFUSD email account to complete the form.
Give yourself time to complete the form. There'll be some short answer questions.
Interest Form will close February 28, 2025.

Brightline Defense’s Construction On Ramp (COR) Program has been a game-changer, helping more than 49 transitional-aged youth gain entry into the City’s pre-apprenticeship programs, like CityBuild Academy, paving the way for successful careers in construction.
The program offers a free, hands-on, one- to two-week training for youth (ages 17-24) to explore whether a long-term career in the construction industry is right for them. Participants receive mentorship, job readiness training, and are fast-tracked to opportunities that lead to financial stability and quality work experience.
Program Details
Eligibility: SF residents aged 17-24, authorized to work in the U.S., with a GED or on track to graduate.
Orientation Dates: March 3, 5, and 7
Cycle 19: March 10 - March 22 (After school + Saturday schedule)
Cycle 20: March 31 - April 5 (Spring Break weekday schedule)
By connecting job training with local hiring policies, the COR Program addresses critical challenges like job outsourcing, while building equity for underserved communities.

Program: Shoreline Leadership Academy

Brief Info:
The Port of San Francisco is excited to co-host the San Francisco Shoreline Leadership Academy with the San Francisco Bay Conversation and Development.
This is an amazing PAID opportunity for current high school juniors and seniors to be trained by subject matter experts on topics such as: sea level rise, flooding and beneficial reuse of sediment.
The program is 15-weeks and will be held in a hybrid format. Each participant will be receive a $1800 stipend upon completion of the Academy and will have a chance to apply for a summer internship with the Port of San Francisco.
