2 hours - 2 Terms
Grades: 9, 10, 11, 12
NCAA Approved
AMPED on Algebra is the regular Algebra 1 curriculum combined with Manufacturing Processes, Entrepreneurship and Design. Students will be in class with both a math teacher and a tech ed teacher for a two hour block, over two terms. Students will learn how to run the equipment needed to make products for the public and will learn all the regular math curriculum. Student-made product information will be used in the algebra equations and algebra will be used in the tech ed portion of the class. (The class will count as 1 credit of Algebra 1 and 1 credit of Intro to Tech Ed.)
