The In Tune with Tradition - Perspectives on Session Etiquette in Irish Traditional Music podcast was launched in July 2025 and has since become a reference point for musicians trying to navigate the social side of sessions - something rarely explained, but constantly felt.
In the podcast I talk to a different guest in each episode exploring their perspective on the topic of etiquette in Irish Traditional Music Sessions. The podcast series was launched by Mairéad Ní Mhaonaigh, of Altan, on July 6th 2025 at Scoil Samhraidh Willie Clancy, Miltown Malbay, Co. Clare. You can listen to all episodes below.
