This resource is designed to assist educators in developing a comprehensive plan for combating tobacco use and vaping in schools. Data for the SESC region (as well as KY as a whole) suggests that students miss an alarming amount of instructional time related to disciplinary consequences for these types of behavior. Our hope is that plans can be developed using some of these resources to help students remain engaged in school by reducing these behavioral occurrences. The slide deck below is narrated (just click on the volume icons) and has a variety of resources for you to consider.

08/30/22: The purpose of this training is to bring new principals up to speed with what the role of a principal is within PBIS. New principal means you might be a brand new principal or you might just be new to the building this year.
1 hour of PD/EILA credit
08/30/22: In this module, you will be diving into building your classroom environment using familiar frameworks to strategically provide your students with a positive learning environment. To help you deepen your understanding of the content, you will find all of the necessary resources in a folder. Please contact your Southeast South/Central Educational Cooperative Social Emotional Learning Specialist for additional information. Upon completion of this module you will be eligible for 3 hours of professional learning.
~~~PBIS/SEL INTEGRATION TRAINING SERIES~~~
10/12/21: In this module, you will receive an overview of the PBIS framework in preparation for PBIS Tier 1 Team Training or simply as a review of the basic elements of the framework.

09/20/21: In this module, you will receive an overview of the CASEL framework and explore the CASEL Website to help deepen your understanding of the 5 Core Competencies around Social Emotional Learning.
1 hour of PD/EILA credit
10/22/21: In this module, you will be exploring the key features of PBIS and CASEL/ SEL and how they can be integrated to become a more robust framework.
