Students were tasked with learning more about artist Andy Goldsworthy. An artist inspired by nature, Andy uses natural materials to create incredible works of art. Students were challenged to complete five tasks.

• Create a still life of natural items found near their environment.

• Sketch your land art sculture (from task 1)

• Re-imagine the climate as a different season.

• Sketch a self-portrait and include the environment in your composition.

• Draw a landscape of the environment around you.
  

The #artunitechallenge provides new artistic prompts that spark creativity and encourage social distancing. Students can choose from 30 activities to connect and create including making a sculpture from empty toilet paper rolls.
